Three Reasons Why Not Planning Your Meals Could Keep Your Goals Out of Reach

One of the most important things that we stress with our clients is the importance of meal planning. It’s the #1 piece of advice that we recommend for those who want to live the happy, healthy lifestyle.

Yet, so many struggle with it.. and with great consequence. Failing to plan is planning to fail. And that is NOT what the happy, healthy lifestyle is all about. Once you get the swing of meal planning, it shouldn’t take you very long at all. And not planning your meals could be the reason your goals remain just out of reach. Here are three reasons why:

1. Bad Decisions: Not planning your meals in advance may lead to making bad decisions on the fly. If you aren’t prepping and preparing your meals at home, chances are you may be going out to eat. So many tempting choices, so little known about how they are prepared! Don’t lead yourself down the path to bad decisions. Plan ahead!

2. Healthy Eats: It’s much easier to avoid detours in your journey if you have yummy, healthy eats readily available for you at a moment’s notice. Healthy food tastes good, too – explore some of our recipes or check out the many resources online!

3. Less Stress: You may not be aware of this, but making little decisions (like what to eat for breakfast) every single day lowers your ability to handle stress. When you focus on meal planning, you take those little decisions away. You know exactly what you will be eating and when, bolstering your stress “immune system” and raising your resistance.
